Dubai I know what they say Dubai is overrated, expensive and Boring!!!

I can never agree with that because for me Dubai is my Happy Bubble!! I have been to Dubai for more than 7 times. Twice last year and for some reason I can’t have enough of it!! I love how clean and refreshing the infrastructure of Dubai is. A lot of people find the immigration and Arabs to be rude but I’ve always had such wonderful friendly encounter with them, very helpful everywhere.

Emirates is the best airline selection for Dubai from Islamabad a short 3 hours plane journey and you’re there!! Uber or Careem I find expensive in Dubai. A normal taxi will do for places where metro trains don’t reach otherwise traveling through trains is the best way to get around in Dubai and most affordable.

Also it’s best if you pick a hotel that is next to metro station. I always go for Emirates Grand hotel for a number of reasons; they have the perfect one bedroom suites quite comfortable for me and my bub, a lot of space with a lovely kitchen. Best services including very reliable babysitters as I do like to take some time out for myself so I feel reassured leaving him behind, located on main Sheikh Zayed Road is a very convenient 5 minutes drive to Dubai Mall, the largest mall in the world followed by the most mesmerizing fountain dance show which is the world’s largest choreographed fountain system. Dubai Mall also hosts an Aquarium and an underwater Zoo.

Also next to it is Burj Khalifa the tallest skyscraper in the world, you can also take a paid tour inside and reach up to 154th floor and watch over the whole Dubai.

When it comes to beaches Dubai offers some great fun activity beaches known as Palm Jumeirah and Kite Beach are top hits. My personal preference is kite beach with a huge trampoline, skate boarding, volleyball and loads of food options. Of course Dubai is famous for its Malls and shopping so don’t miss out on the following:

Dubai Mall, Mall of Emirates, Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai Marina Mall, and City Centre Deira. Dubai is also famous for its Ski Dubai in Mall of Emirates. I’m not a snow lover so I stay away from snow but if you love snow and everything that comes with it you should hit that place. There is a new addition in Dubai known as IMG park and it’s quite a happening place, it’s an indoor theme park with crazy roller-coasters and a haunted house and kids activities and of course a lot of food options and shopping, so don’t miss out on that. If you want to go for budget friendly shopping, do check out the Dragon Mart, it’s the largest trading hub for Chinese products and people usually use golf carts to ride from one section to another. A must experience. Desert Safari and dune bashing is one thing Dubai is known for and isn’t so bad. You can pick the tours from the hotel you are staying in for all the above mentioned places. If you want to experience the historic and local life of Dubai, then you should visit Deira and Bur Dubai. There is also A Meena bazar that’s very happening with loads of budget friendly shops and small vendors.
