Khunjerab Pass at Pakistan-China border opens for travel and trade on Monday, 1st April 2019.
The Khunjerab pass being the world’s highest paved international border crossing, is also unique because its the highest point on The Karakoram Highway.
According to an agreement signed between both friendly countries, Pakistan and China will close their borders every year from 1st of December till 1st of April.
The borders closes in winters due to the heavy snowfall every year for four months.
